At Ash & Root Curios, every curio is more than an object—it’s part of a lineage. Hoodoo has always been about remembering, resisting, and healing. We honor that legacy by giving a portion of proceeds to organizations carrying this work forward today.​ Our donation circle includes:

Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture – preserving stories, history, and art of the African diaspora.

Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society – keeping ancestral memory alive for future generations.

Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) – fighting hate and seeking justice.

Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) – challenging mass incarceration and racial injustice.

Black Women’s Health Imperative – advancing health and wellness for Black women.

The Loveland Foundation – providing therapy and healing resources for Black women and girls.
